Arnie's Favorite Karate Movies

I am VERY excited about a new Karate movie coming out in a couple weeks called Ninja Assassins. It looks like a great Karate movie. Now, I call everything Karate so get off your high horse about Tae Kwon Do, and Kung Fu. Let's just call them Karate movies. So here's a list of my favorite Karate movies.

The Karate Kid. Sure it's campy and a little predictable but it's a kid from Jersey who moves to Resita, Ca and is bullied by Karate guys. So he becomes friends with a Japanese fella who teaches him the art of Karate. Which not only gets him respect and a trophy but also Elizabeth Shue.

The next movie is one of my ALL TIME favorites. Steven Segal when he was thin and didn't care about politics in Out For Justice. He plays a cop who is a bad ass and wants to get revenge for a fallen friend. Hell, he even breaks a guys teeth out with an 8 ball. He also breaks guys arms in the wrong way. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

What can you say about Kill Bill. Sure it's a chick that kicks ass but its one of those Karate movies that you would watch on Saturday afternoons. But without the terrible dubbing of the voices. Plus all the bloodshed in this movie was FANTASTIC!

Now we are getting into the meat of Karate movies. Lone Wolf McQuade with the one and only CHUCK NORRIS! He plays what later turned into Walker Texas Ranger but with way more violence. Plus he gets to out Karate Kung Fu himself David Carradine. And he drives his Dodge Charger out of a grave. I think I have seen this movie a hundred times.

I saved the BEST for last. You can pretty much put EVERY Bruce Lee movie on the list, but I picked Enter the Dragon because this was his last movie and he did the unthinkable. He beat Chuck Norris.
