Ok, let me get this out of the way early.  James Franco is a terrible actor probably the worst of our time, but he is not to blame for the Planet of the Apes movie sucking.  He's a part of it, don't get me wrong.  But I can't blame the stupid story, all of the bad acting and the really shitty graphics on just James Franco.  Franco is a doctor who is looking for the cure of Alzheimer's because his father has it and he lives at home with him.  They have tried it out on a chimp and it seems to have worked that is until the chimp goes crazy and they shoot it.  Not knowing that the chimp went crazy because she was protecting her baby.  So James Franco takes the baby home who by the way has had the drug in it's system it's whole life and watched it do amazing things so of course he is ready to try the drug on his father without telling people and it seems to work.  Well for a little while but the apes have a stronger immune system and they handle the drug better, and once this chimp has gotten too big James Franco can't watch him anymore so he sends him to a monkey sanctuary.  Were of course the apes are treated terribly and as soon as they can they rise up and take over the streets of San Francisco.  Ok here is my problem with this movie, EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!  This drug makes monkeys the smartest things in the world, they learn to reason and they even learn motor skills but they can barley talk.  Unless your the main monkey.  The other problem I had is that the monkeys would never EVER win.  I don't care that it was based in San Francisco.  As soon as one monkey attacked a police officer that thing would be shot and no one would ask any questions.  This movie SUCKED!!!!!!!!!  Rob let me take the time to tell you how right you were when I told you I was excited by this movie and you said it would be terrible and it was.  I HATED this movie!!!!!!!
