Shep & Nellie's Spring Vacation At Dogwoods Resort - 2011
Spring has officially sprung and that means a lot of us will be heading out of town and enjoying some time away…including time away from the mutts! Lucky for you, my German Shepherds Shep and Nellie love to vacation in the hills between Reno and Sacramento at Dogwoods resort. Loyal listener Theresa is amazing with the pups and has been so thankful for all of the RAD listeners who have trusted her with their dogs!

This is what Nellie looks like when she sees or hears something and gets excited about it. Based on the expression on her face, I would imagine someone has either food, a ball or a copy of “bitches monthly magazine” for her.
Shep and Nellie occasionally have a “who’s tongue is longer competition,” and on this day, Nellie won.

Around Dogwoods, Shep is legendary for taking the place over. In classic form, he decides here to wrestle (yes, they are playing not fighting) a fellow Dogwoods resident while his sidekick Nellie does absolutely nothing other than sniff the other dog.
