Round 2 Of Arnie's Texas Vacation Photos
Here we go with round two of the photos from my trip to the GREAT STATES OF TEXAS!!!!!!!!! We decided to take a trip to Six Flags Over Texas. I think that along with the heat, the death trap rides almost made me puke.
There are some rides that prego's can't go on. Here's a look at the anit-pregnacy sign on a ride.
So we decided to head to Austin for a day and couldn't pass up on Willie Nelson's truck stop, a must see in the state of Texas.
We have arrived in Austin and of course the first stop has to be the bookstore at the University of Texas, and my good friend Bevo was there to great his long lost friend.
So we saw a great Bar-b-que place on the show Man vs. Food in Austin called the Saltlick. And YES, it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! A good friend of mine named Mark who lives in Austin met up with us, but didn't even pay!!!!!!!! So since my wife had never been to Austin I took her to the places that she HAD to see. The Tower at U.T. The State Capital building. And of course Darrel K. Royal Memorial Stadium home of this year's National Champion Texas Longhorns!!!!!!!!!!
One food I HAD to have when I was back home was Chicken Fried Steak, because it totally SUCKS in California.
I went to visit my cousin while I was in town, and like most of my other relatives whenever I'm in town I HAVE to do manual labor. Thanks sooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!
It's a good thing this Indian is wooden, otherwise it was going to get a beatdown. I still punched it right in the nuts though.
And of course what is a trip to the Great State of Texas without at least one, maybe even 6 trips to Whataburger. Thumbs up as usual from both of us, and a clean tray that I left for the help because they wouldn't give me a goddamn hat.
It's time to leave my home state and I'm sad. But here's something that Rob and I have talked about what we do to the in-flight crossword puzzle. So if your flying and you see this, just know it was me. |
